We are looking for a talented developer with software engineering experience and thrives on interacting with data. You will bring your skills to derive insights based on data mining, system insights, and statistics – and can translate these insights into algorithms, features and code changes. We need a solid engineer with hands-on technical skills that is comfortable taking on many challenges to help people discover all the amazing things they can find and share about food. We’d love it if you were passionate about creating concise, scalable code and building out software products that make a measurable impact for users. If you have some A/B testing experience – all the better.
* Passion for problem solving & statistics
* Exceptional Java and Python development, knowledge of Scala
* Experience with SQL data stores and supporting databases
* 5+ years experience in coding, adapt to changing data insights
