    i love old recipes, i use them for the base of what i make..i tweek them to go with the times, but there isnt a better recipe then the snickerdoodle recipe from the 30s or banana bread..i have just recently been interested in collectin the better homes and garden cookbooks..i have my grammas only one dated like 50s..but she has hand written recipes from the older bhg cbooks

    I also love to take some old recipes from my mother-in-law and see how I can cook them on the grill. I also plan on putting some of those recipes on our website Best Backyard Chef to share with people.
