Day of the Mojito

National Mojito Day is today, July 11.

Honestly, we have no idea how folks come up with all these food holidays. Can we create our own and just publish a Wikipedia page on it to make it official? That said, who are we to pass up on opportunity to celebrate the Mojito. With the margarita, it’s one of the most popular cocktails on Foodily.

While the classic Mojito is a traditional Cuban cocktail made with rum, muddled mint, sugar, lime and soda water or tonic, as with all other recipes, people have gotten creative and put their own spin on this classic cocktail. Here are a few of our favorites (and apparently yours too!)
