Burgers, hot dogs, cookies, sugar filled drinks – STOP!

Your Labor Day BBQ doesn’t have to be a fat free for all. Foodily Tastemaker Lisa McRee cracked the code on how to lose weight, keep it off and feed your family delicious, healthy meals.

Start off the party with Skinny Tomato “SPLAT” with Whole Wheat Pita Chips and Goat Cheese or Healthy Hummus with Crudite

Hot day and want a great soup option – go for the Glorious Gazpacho.

Lisa encourages people to “eat more things that grow and fewer things that walk….” But when you do have meat, make sure it packs a flavorful punch! For your main course, consider Lisa’s Quick and Easy Buttermilk Chipotle Grilled Chicken or Indian Grilled Chicken

The kids will love Grilled Personal Pizzas. Choose toppings like veggies, vegan sausage, organic cheese and fresh chopped pineapple.

On the side, serve up a Grilled Vegetable Platter or Skinny Corn, Cucumber and Tomato Salad.

For dessert, The Berry Skinny Trifle satisfies every sweet tooth in the house without the fat and calories.

Continuing with the DIY theme for kids, set up a table for the kids to make their own Frozen Yogurt Cakes in a Jar.
