We know that everyone can discover something amazing from any profile on Foodily – a great recipe find, a new soon-to-be-favorite blog, a fancy cocktail, a way to make your own baking powder, and more. By following profiles you discover more great recipes and sources who can give you ideas with a single fave.

There are 2 ways to follow more people:

1. Head on over to the Friends section on your toolbar and check out the Suggested tab to see recommended Tastemakers. Follow them all or check out their profile description and follow who fits your tastes. For instance, there are four vegetarian Tastemakers you can follow.

2. Check out the Faved By section on any recipe – click on a photo to see that person’s collection on Foodily. Like what you see? Click the Follow button and you’ll automatically start getting their new Faves and recommendations in your Feed. For instance, if I love Nom Nom Paleo and I see who also Faves a bunch of their recipes – I can start following those people and get more Paleo-like recipes in my Feed.

As the Foodily community grows, try following boards and people that really speak to your personal tastes and goals in food. Of course, it’s just as easy to unfollow people whose tastes don’t really suit you – simply visit their profile and click “Unfollow.” (Don’t worry – your friends won’t know if you unfollow them).

Following people makes recipe discovery and cooking so much more fun. Have other suggestions for finding people to follow? We’d love to hear it. Or, better yet, recommend yourself to be a Tastemaker.
