Slash the Web with Recipes: Announcing our Partnership with Blekko

Foodily’s mission is to help everyone find and share recipes they love. In keeping with this mission, today we are proud to announce our partnership with Blekko, the new search engine that eliminates search result spam. As the Editor-in-Chief of the /recipe slashtag, Foodily now actively curates Blekko search results for recipes. Recipe search results often prove to be a cluttered and spam-filled on other search engines.

In order to deliver the best results possible, Foodily creates recipe-related slashtags, including /Recipe, /Baking, /Vegetarian, and /Gluten free. But Foodily can’t do all the slashtag curating alone! We’re encouraging friends of Foodily to sign up to be editors on Blekko, and work with us to edit slashtags for your favorite kinds of recipes.
